Top Leaders from Apple and Stitcher Join Comcast Ventures As Entrepreneurs-in-Residence

News  |  February 17, 2016  |  By

We’re excited to announce two additions to the Comcast Ventures entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIRs) program: Michelle Gonzalez and Noah Shanok. Michelle, who spent over seven years at Apple and most recently led product for Apple News, joins the San Francisco team. As the co-founder of The Influencer Series, an invite only community reaching over 14,000 influencers in Silicon Valley, she plans to leverage her product expertise, connections and operations background to identify promising companies, evaluate fit and become an integral part of the Comcast Ventures investment process. Noah, who was the founder and CEO of Stitcher for over seven years, will spend his time incubating a company in the Philadelphia office. He brings his consumer-facing startup expertise in the media space to the team.

With the addition of Michelle and Noah, the Comcast Ventures EIR program has helped seven entrepreneurs start a company or move into the venture world. Daniel Gulati, co-founder and CEO of FashionStake, joined the Comcast Ventures EIR program in 2014 and quickly transitioned to Principal focused on early stage investments and consumer internet. Designed to fit the needs of each individual entrepreneur, the program helps foster internal innovation with CV investment partners and operating executives while providing EIRs guidance on sourcing new deals and an overall understanding of the VC process and ecosystem.
